Terms of Service
Effective Date: March 1, 2025
1. Acceptance of Terms
By submitting an enrollment application, creating a student account, or using any services provided by South Geauga Theology University, Inc. ("SGTU"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use our services.
2. Enrollment Agreement
Enrollment becomes binding when (a) your application is approved by SGTU admissions staff and (b) full or initial installment payment is received. SGTU reserves the right to deny any application at its sole discretion.
This Agreement is made between the student and South Geauga Theology University, Inc., located at 1901 E Silversprings Blvd, 1020, Ocala, FL 34470.
3. Tuition & Fees
- Application Fee: $50.00 — Non-Refundable (currently waived for a limited time).
- Accelerated Program Tuition: $5,000 total, payable in full or via monthly installment plan.
- Graduation Fee: $300.00 — Non-Refundable.
- Textbooks are the student's responsibility and are purchased from third-party vendors.
4. Refund Policy
- Day 1–15 from enrollment registration: 100% refund of tuition.
- Day 16–30: 50% refund of tuition.
- Day 31 and beyond: No refund.
Refunds are issued within 30 days of receipt of a signed Notice of Cancellation Form. The application fee and graduation fee are non-refundable in all cases.
Students who received federal student financial aid are entitled to refunds of moneys not paid from federal aid funds.
5. Student Right to Cancel
The student has the right to cancel this enrollment agreement and obtain a refund of all charges paid through attendance at the first class session, or within 7 days after enrollment — whichever is later.
6. Online Disclosure
Within 72 hours of payment, students receive credentials to access the SGTU online student portal containing syllabi, lessons, and assessments. Students have 15 calendar days from receipt of the "new student notification" email to cancel for a full refund.
7. Transfer of Credits
NOTICE: The transferability of credits and credentials earned at SGTU is at the complete discretion of the institution to which you seek to transfer. If your credits or degree are not accepted at another institution, you may be required to repeat coursework. Confirm transfer policies with any prospective institution before enrollment.
8. Academic Integrity
Students are expected to complete all coursework independently and honestly. Plagiarism, cheating on assessments, or misrepresentation of credentials may result in immediate termination of enrollment without refund.
9. Intellectual Property
All course materials, videos, PDFs, quizzes, and content within the SGTU student portal are the intellectual property of South Geauga Theology University, Inc. Students may not reproduce, distribute, or republish any course materials without written permission.
10. Limitation of Liability
SGTU's liability for any claim arising from enrollment or use of our services is limited to the tuition amount paid in the most recent billing period. SGTU is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Manatee County, Florida.
